mrs_maupinStarting in March, I have made one drawing per day. there have been a few days off, and one or two breaks when I was away from home and my routine was turned upside down, but mostly I have stuck to it this time. I'm about halfway through, which is a lot more than any previous photographic project I have tried in the past.
Mostly I work in china ink - there have been a few digitally colored things, some coloring pencils and some rough sketches have made it on days where I was a bit too tired for proper inking.
We are planning the Troll's birthday party and he asked for a crocodile on the invitations.
He chose the second one for the invitatiosn but now wants hats like the first one. Anyone has good tutorials to guide 6-year-olds throught eh process of making a paper top hat ?
I'm having fun taking a little time each day to draw - I have cranked out mroe stuff in the last months than in the years since the kids were bornd, an probably before that. Not everything is good but it keeps the hand going, and I found back my love of pen nibs. Here are a few more :
