I got all alterations done on one hiking outfit and made a mock-up of the pants. Little brother-of-heart and his girlfriend arrived early but in the end it was a good thing as I was able to tweak the crotch area into submission better when acutally trying the pants on her. I am slowly using up the cheap bright Ikea cottons - those that served as tablecloth for our wedding and were then washed and stashed. As a resulte, the pants are three fourth fire engine red, with the front of one leg in apple green, bright yellow pockets at the top and on the leg a big red applied pocked with a yellow lapel. Add yellow triangular pieces at the center back seam for alterations, and it gets really... unique.
Left to do : actually build the mock-up for her jacket. Edit the pattern pieces for little brother and mock up his outfit.
No progress on the corset cover, guests in the house mean board game night :)
