The second coat is done, photographed and sent on its way to its owner. It was a mad rush to finish it. I didn't manage to do it before the pick-up time for parcles yesterday, and I ended up enrollign th eHome Geek to put cordstops in because I was so overtired and emotional I was starting to fear I'd make a huge mistake, and I needed some company for the last strecth. I ended up unpicking a few things this orning because there were a few folds in a seam that drove me mad. Perfectionist me hit again...
But now I'm really proud of the coats, and I see the progress I have made between the two, and it feels good, inspite of the blood, hurt fingers and the burns, and the various hair-pulling and even inspite of zippers. They look really good and there are a million tiny details to them that makes them awesome.
I want to work on something else today just for a change, but that might not happen. I'm so tired I will probably just spend a quiet afternoon with the kids. I promised them we'd bake a cake and watch a movie at home. It's cold and rainy, so it seems like the perfect program.
When I brought the parcle to the post office I had the good surprise to discover there's a market on Wednesdays in frotn of the PO, with stuff we don't find at our usual farmer's market, like candied orange peels, saucisson and tourtons. I stocked up on tourtons for lunch (no need to cook, yay !) and on saucisson. I will probably start shopping here now and then - there's also a yummy italian fresh pasta booth that was VERY hard to resist. Tired me has cravings for carbs, fat, and salt ! ^^ I did take 4 spinach tourtons, so there will be a tiny little bit of veggies today, too.
